Heavy glass wine bottle packaging wine was approved
Recently, two of the most influential figures in the international wine industry, Ms. Jessie Robinson and Oz Clarke attacked the heavy-duty bottles. Oz Clarke slammed luxury Portuguese producers for using heavy-duty bottles as an irresponsible manifestation of the environment. According to the British glass organization British Glass, an organization that organizes WRAP for the Waste and Resources Action Plan in the United Kingdom, the use of lighter bottles has allowed Britain to reduce 20,000 tons of glass waste. Jess Robinson launched a campaign on his personal website titled "Fame and Shame," and the campaign focused on the heaviest bottle. At the recent 2008 Conference on Climate Change and Wine Industry held in Barcelona, oz. Clarke delivered a speech, slamming that the habit of luxury wine producers using heavy-duty wine bottles is irresponsible to the environment. According to the British Glass Organization, the average weight of British wine bottles is 500 grams, and the Waste & Resources Action Programme will announce the results of the organization's two years of research at the end of March. Currently, prestigious wine producers are still reluctant to give up the use of heavy wine bottles, but experts have asked them to reconsider the issue. The use of lighter packaging is actually a win-win strategy because it can increase the image of prestigious wine producers in an environment-friendly image, while also reducing the cost of transportation.
